Hey, thanks for dropping by our site. We wrote down some terms here, not to scare you or bury you in legal talk. Just to kinda explain how the website should be used and what’s fine or not. It’s pretty simple really.
If you keep browsing around here or using any tools we made, it kinda means you agree with these terms. If you don’t like them… well, that’s okay too, you just shouldn’t use the site then.
This place is made to share info, little tools, and sometimes tips. Please don’t misuse it, like hacking, or copy-pasting everything and pretending it’s yours. That kinda stuff ruins it for others. Just be nice and fair and it’ll be fine.
Most of the text, design, and features are ours (or belong to partners we got permission from). You can share some things of course – actually, we’d be happy if you do, just give credit. But taking big parts and reselling, nah, that’s not okay.
If you use forms, tools, whatever… please try to give correct info. Fake stuff just messes with how the site works. And, honestly, it’s not fair to others.
We try really hard to keep everything right and up-to-date. But, mistakes happen, links break, maybe a number is off. If you rely 100% on the site and something goes wrong, we can’t be held responsible.
We care about privacy. We don’t sell personal info, and we follow data laws. If you’re curious about details, we have a privacy policy page too.
Things change – laws, tools, even our own plans. So sometimes we update these terms. When we do, you’ll see the new version here. If you keep using the site after, it means you’re okay with it.
Since this is an Iceland-based site, Icelandic law applies. If there’s a dispute (hopefully not), it goes to Icelandic courts.
If something’s unclear or you just wanna ask, head over to our contact page and drop a message.
This website helps users easily verify kennitala and retrieve information.
